At Sea
Cassie Tompkins’s latest works on fabric consider the passage of time and a shifting landscape in a poetic and literal sense. She uses techniques of shibori arashi and monoprinting with dyes to create abstract imagery referencing water, flowers, and skyscapes. The pigments swirl and spread, traveling throughout the fibers in search of their bearings.
